Editorial review: delayed and speculative readout

13 October 2026. Editorial assessment 233. Mathematical statements, executable code, claim admission and the next research target are unchanged.

Scope and concrete fixes

Reviewed the foundations overview and checkpoint, the independent-reindexing frontier, constructions 78–80, assessments 228–232, and their five maintained Python source readers. The review followed research-note and code links and inspected the rendered arguments, resource statements, examples, qualifications and navigation.

  • Rendered construction 80’s resource bounds with KaTeX instead of literal underscores and braces. Rendered ambiguity powers and floor notation in constructions 78 and 80.
  • Added qualified successor links from the reindexing frontier, construction 78 and earlier reviews. These distinguish later sufficient subclasses from the arbitrary-reindexing problem that remains open.
  • Marked historical next-test wording and the review-230 latest-result statement as dated context. Preserved their original arguments, evidence and stable routes.
  • Kept the current checkpoint anchor on the current result. Preserved the exact mathematical next target and the homepage’s substantive research date.

Reader and source checks

The release-envelope proof, fixed-delay proof and unchanged-suffix proof have styled HTML/KaTeX readings. The source readers provide syntax highlighting, line anchors and explicit downloads:

Code bytes are checked against the pre-edit hashes and every raw download against its maintained source. Scoped checks cover rendered equations, local reading links, fragment targets, source anchors, styles and deployment exclusion of raw Markdown. Build success alone is not the editorial result: rendered prose and notation were also inspected. Exact build, deployment and GitLab-to-Site parity receipts are retained in canonical integration state.

Browser viewport inspection is unavailable in the supported workflow, so responsive layout and visual clipping remain unverified. This editorial pass does not rerun the unrelated full repository suite; its five previously recorded baseline failures retain their existing disposition.

Preserved research target

Replace fixed simultaneous width by an input-derived speculative frontier with paid local service. Charge discovery, traversal and elimination at their release times, including stored but temporarily unserved candidates; a total-work bound alone does not suffice. Seek a useful variable-width subclass without frontier scans or supplied decompositions. Arbitrary whole-suffix permutations, arbitrary-name routing, cyclic state sharing and heterogeneous service remain open. Preserve this target through the next editorial pass.

Scheduled completion 138 advances once. Mathematical count 143, window three, last reassessment 140, native construction 80 and root claims remain unchanged. Next is research completion 139, dedicated primary-proof review 140 and editorial completion 144. This is an editorial update, not a new paper or mathematical result.
