Source and priority ledger — clean-excess meridian obstruction

Checked 8 September 2026. This packet redistributes the Lab’s proof and audit code, not primary papers. source-snapshots.json identifies the actual retained source files and inherited proof notes used. A retained file being re-read is not described as a fresh download.

Source Version and inspected location Role and limit
Garoufalidis–Yu, The 3d-index of the 3d-skein module via the quantum trace map Author revision dated 6 August 2025, retained PDF/text; Section 3.3, (29)–(31), Remark 3.1; Section 3.4, Remark 3.2; Section 3.5 opening Rechecked mixed-sided tetrahedron/edge presentation, reduced root commutators, rank N−rN-r, independent-edge statement in the identified target and torus-boundary restriction. The all-sector obstruction deliberately does not assume the identified redundancy theorem extends to every six-root sign sector. Full named action remains an inherited packet dependency.
Garoufalidis–Yu, A quantum trace map for 3-manifolds Published primary PDF, Advances in Mathematics 486 (2026), 110735; retained PDF/text, Section 1.4 and nearby introduction Rechecked the published degenerate-chart/univalent-edge warning. This is a scope caution, not a full-six-root/PP filling counterexample in this note. The complete local target is inherited through the preceding audited six-root packet.
Panitch–Romo, On the length conjecture for twist knots arXiv:2609.02706v1, Section 7 / Conjecture 7.1, freshly opened on the web and compared with retained HTML/text Current open objective: a nontrivial quotient supporting the filled trace. The authors’ ongoing-work priority remains acknowledged. Neither algebraic countermodel is asserted to refute the actual conjecture.
Stacks Project Section 15.29, tag 0621, Definitions 15.29.1–15.29.2 and Lemmas 15.29.4–15.29.6, freshly opened Standard Koszul definitions and the wedge homotopy showing the defining ideal annihilates homology. The first-obstruction map and its all-orders extinction lemma are written out directly in the note; a source citation is not used in place of that argument.
Gunningham–Safronov, Deformation quantization and perverse sheaves arXiv:2312.07595v3, dated 13 June 2026; introduction/Theorem A, Section 7.5 and nearby text, freshly opened Primary positioning reference for the established derived deformation-quantization / Lagrangian-intersection viewpoint and clean-intersection local-system discussion. Not a theorem dependency identifying the algebraic Laurent cokernel with its different sheaf-theoretic derived tensor product. No such comparison is proved or assumed here.

Inherited proofs read before the new argument

The active state and the complete six-root packet were read, including both proof notes, audits, ledgers, verifier sources and recorded outputs. Its payload hashes were rechecked successfully. The earlier generic-boundary and positive-geometric proof notes were read, especially the following inputs:

  • Generic boundary reconstruction, Theorem 8.1: the exact cokernel isomorphism and the filled-vacuum image 1−l21-l^2. Its GJV/GJS/FG inputs, generic-parameter restriction and original sidedness remain unchanged.
  • Generic boundary reconstruction, Theorem 8.2: the formal logarithmic star product and regular-sequence syzygy argument proving ℏ\hbar-torsion-freeness. The present work investigates the missing non-Koszul syzygies instead of assuming that proof persists outside its hypothesis.
  • Positive geometric filling, Sections 2–4: separate tetrahedron/moment differential blocks, Neumann isotropy and rank, the expected dimension r−1r-1, signed surgery roots, and the vacuum condition. No additional positive-geometric filling is claimed.
  • Positive geometric filling, Section 5: the folded algebraic excess locus. The present note reuses this credited example and computes its first quantum obstruction; it does not newly claim the classical folded identity or a manifold realization.
  • Six-root peripheral lift and local collar square: full native target, retained involutions, additive named meridian and side transport to CK/PP. These are dependencies, not re-proved by the new Poisson verifier. The existing source-reading qualification for CK’s mixed-sided Laurent presentation remains.

The former empty-sector obstruction note was also read as historical scope context; its A=−1A=-1 result is not used as a generic-parameter obstruction here.

Search boundary and useful negative results

A bounded fresh primary-literature search covered quantum-gluing nonvanishing, degenerate target warnings, and deformation-quantization/Koszul/clean-intersection descriptions. The decisive positioning source was the current Gunningham–Safronov primary text. No secondary research summary is a mathematical input.

The search is not an exhaustive novelty assessment. The broad local differential / derived-intersection phenomenon is established mathematics. The contribution claimed here is a self-contained, presentation-specific first-obstruction criterion, its application to actual six-root local germs under explicit hypotheses, and exact countermodels delimiting which conclusions do not follow. Publication-level significance and first priority remain unassessed.

The GY degenerate-chart warning is intentionally not used to close PR 7.1 by assertion. Doing that would require checking the actual target, the intended conjectural domain, the full global relations and the named comparison; this continuation does not supply such a counterexample. No author was contacted.

Computation boundary

verify-clean-excess.py uses only Python’s standard library, rational numbers and exact Gaussian-rational arithmetic. It verifies the fixed Laurent syzygy, moment isotropy, Poisson signs, scheme reduction, differential ranks, scalar corrections and a formal ODE recurrence through degree 16. It scans no manifolds, triangulations, slopes or skein configurations.

The finite recurrence is an audit of the formula, not evidence substituted for the all-orders theorem. The written coefficient-vector lifting argument proves exact ℏ\hbar-annihilation; the written formal PDE recursion proves surjectivity; the all-integer resonance and global Fourier-functional proofs are algebraic arguments in the note.

Status

Supporting ATTACK research note. AI-assisted, internally audited, not externally reviewed or author-endorsed. Not a new Publication. PR 7.1 remains open in this work. Recommended next mode: global algebraic detection for the actual generic six-root meridian cokernel, with all exact quantum moment shifts and the filled-vacuum test retained.
